Here at RVA Magazine we love getting excited about the local art scene, music scene, and now, about the substantial growth of all the stellar craft BEER here in RVA! One of our favorite beer lovers always says “BEER IS THE ANSWER!” and we go by this motto as well. This week is a special time for beer lovers. RVA Beer Week starts tonight on the art walk at Gallery 5, Capital Ale House, and at Once Upon A Vine, and that’s just day one.

RVA Beer Week, which runs from Nov. 2 til Nov. 11, is all about trying to get more folks to notice and support the cool things Richmond local businesses are doing in regards to craft beer. We have some amazing, independent, locally owned restaurants and retailers in Richmond that support local craft beer all year long. This week was created to showcase and draw attention to the work these businesses have done to build up our local beer scene. We see this time each year as beer lover recruitment–a week of events that will hopefully encourage those that are passionate about beer to get their friends to come out and enjoy what Richmond has to offer.

Check out the lineup below, and we look forward to joining you out and about in RVA at all these great local venues for amazing craft beer.
