Destroy Your Idols, the new weekly dance party brought to you by the same people that brought you RVALUTION. Every Thursday, the Hat Factory will be the go-to spot in Richmond. With a completely new visual setup, theme, and a cast of all-star DJ’s supporting some of the most recognizable DJ’s in the world, this is going to be a huge step in the right direction for not only Richmond, but the areas reputation in the electronic music field.
To start things off right, Depressed Buttons, a trio of DJ’s who used to be in a little band you might’ve heard of, called The Faint. With their debut EP QWERTY recently released on Mad Decent, these guys have gained support from established DJ’s throughout the world. A remix EP just dropped this week, featuring remixes by Para One, Beatacue, and Tony Senghore, to name just a few. These guys have a very unique sound that is evident throughout their original material. You don’t want to miss the jump-off to what will soon be the weekly party of your semester.
