As locally-focused RVA podcasts go, Cut The Cord Radio is certainly unique. Founder and host Tyler Matthews, soundman James Seretis, and their rotating cast of guests always bring a humorous and entertaining viewpoint to the internet’s airwaves on Thursday nights at 7 PM when their “radio” show streams live across the internet from its online home at cutthecordradio.com.

Cut The Cord Radio Interviews Legendary Punk Rocker Tesco Vee Of The Meatmen

Tesco Vee’s been involved in the punk rock scene pretty much since it began. Starting pioneering punk rock zine Touch And Go in Michigan in 1979, he formed The Meatmen in 1981. This seminal hardcore punk band made it their business to trample taboos, ignore PC conventions, and piss off as many people as they could. It only makes sense that a band with this mission–which is reflected in Meatmen song titles like “Crippled Children Suck,” “French People Suck,” “We’re The Meatmen And You Suck,” and many more–would perform at the 2014 GWAR-B-Q, taking place on Saturday, August 16.
