Well head over to the Richmond Kickers website to grab yourself a ticket for their game on Sun. July 19 when the RVA soccer team takes on West Bromwich Albion of the English Premier League at City Stadium.
The Kickers are runnning a pretty cool promotion with Growlers to Go right now. When you buy a ticket, you get a 32 oz Commerative Growler. So basically, $35 gets you a ticket to the game and two free beers. Sounds good to me.
And the team is only giving away 500 growlers so you better hurry and grab yours if you want one!

If you haven’t already heard, or the name of the business is lost on you, you bring your growler in and fill it up with delicious craft beer.The spot is a craft beer lovers fantasy with a refriderated section, a wall with 50+ taps sbehind a bar, and a walk-in fridge lined with kegs of craft beer.
Eric Wetzel, general manager of Growlers to Go said they ran a previous promotion with the RIchmond Kickers for growlers and it did so well, they decided to do it again.
“We’re huge soccer fans first of all, we did one earlier in the year with Columbus Crew and at that game we sold our regular growlers and it was a hit, people really loved it,” he said. “The West Bromwich game seemed like a fantastic opportunity there’s going to be so many people, it’s great exposure for us, but it’s also a great way for the fans to have some sort of commemorative item from the match.”
Wetzel said he’d been talking with the Richmond Kickers since earlier in the year and they knew they wanted to do another promotion for this game since it’s such a big game.
Happy Hour starts at 3:30 pm with live music, RVA food trucks and craft beer on tap. The game starts at 5:30 pm. Grab your tickets here.
