BridgePark folks plan four days of awesome “What if” community meetups at 1708 Gallery’s 10×10 this week

BridgeParkRVA, a group hoping to build a pedestrian bridge over the James River, is kicking things into high gear with a series of events this wee.

Called “What If,” over the course of 4 nights, BridgePark will offer local food, music, art, dance, yoga, friends, and more at 1708 Gallery’s 10×10 space, at 319 W Broad St.. It’l be a great chance for you to learn more about the BridgePark project and enjoy local sights and sounds.

What if ..

We could gather together for a meal, take a yoga class, see our favorite bands, be inspired by performance and art… all, in the midst of the most magical sights and sounds of our City? Join, and imagine what a one of a kind place over the James might inspire in us.

The Gallery will be set up with epic imagery and sounds from the park site and art related to the architecture, themes, and process of the project. Bring your own “What If” dreams and tell us what they are!

All events FREE to attend and family friendly.

RVA Dance Collective sprung from the creative collaboration between artistic directors Jess Burgess and Danica Kalemdaroglu. The co-artistic directors work tirelessly to bridge the gap between artists of all mediums in the city of Richmond.

I shoot this in RVA's beautiful Dogtown Dance Theatre. It was a great experience working with the collective.
One of my favorite moments was getting to fit a GoPro Camera to two company dancers. The result was a first person perspective of modern dance. This video features interviews with the incredibly talented dancers of the RVA Dance Collective.
