Former RVAMag intern Carson Brown is going places… literally and figuratively.

Brown has been over in Paris for the last few months, learning abroad, as part of her college program.

After checking in as ‘safe’ on facebook, Brown detailed her experience in the city after the attacks, and spoke some about the how the locals have responded to the crisis.

“Parisians are swift actors,” she told Northwestern News Network’s host Orko Manna in a Skype interview. “The very first morning after everything occurred the hospitals were already over crowded. People were lineup around the block to donate blood to the victims.”

Check out Brown’s segment below, it’s the opening story so no need to fast forward.

A student of journalism at North Western University, Carson was part of RVAMag’s 2015 Summer internship program. You can join our internship team in the Winter 2016 session, head over to this page and follow directions to get involved.
