This has left the Brissettes remaining daughter, Madeline, in a terrifying and complicated place.

“The passing of Martha and Henry Brissette was not only tragic, it was sudden. Having just started their new lives together, Madeline and John Barker (daughter and son-in-law) were not prepared to take on the financial burden that comes with losing their loved ones,” reads the GoFundMe account set up for Madeline and her husband to cover the costs of burying their parents. The cost of the funeral is aimed to be around $20K, according the the gofundme, and the cost of cleaning the house is about $3K.

You can help out Madeline in her time of need here.
