Anytime Richmond combines food and craft beer, the people of our city are there, no questions asked.

Anytime Richmond combines food and craft beer, the people of our city are there, no questions asked.

And this Saturday, you’ll get to enjoy both those things with the Richmond Kickers at their first annual I Heart Carytown Beer Festival at City Stadium.

The festival will feature food from Carytown restaurants like Carytown Burgers & Fries, food trucks and over 20 craft beers and cider on tap.

The first 200 fans through the gate will receive an exclusive sampling of small plates from some of Carytown’s restaurants including Nacho Mama’s, Greek on Cary and Pink Belle Cupcakes.

The Kickers are even giving you a free beer! Tickets are $15 which gets you into the festival, the Kickers game, a beer and a souvenir Carytown pint glass.

In addition to beer and food from Carytown, there will also be a mini-Carytown market with boutiques, specialty shops, spas and professional services for you to check out before the game.

RVA Trolley will be operating a continuously running, FREE hop-on-hop-off trolley loop from City Stadium to Carytown from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Hollywood Cemetery will be providing the tunes. The party starts at 3:00 p.m. The Richmond Kickers will take on Rochester at 5:00 p.m. An official after-party will take at Garden Grove Brewing in Carytown after the game so make sure you hop back on the trolley and go grab some more brews after you watch the Richmond Kickers take down Rochester.
