What’s happening craft beer lovers of RVA?!

What’s happening craft beer lovers of RVA?! Welcome to this week’s “Tapped,” RVA Magazine’s go to weekly craft beer column where you can find all your craft beer-related events, releases, festivals and all the booze news your little hearts desire.

Our cup is overflowing with news this week, but first head over here to check out what awesome brews were released in Richmond last weekend.

We’ve got new releases, and other cool events going on so hold on to your mugs because we’re getting ready to tap this thing!

On Wednesday, Strangeways Brewing will bring back its Knuckle Drag brew in honor of their 3 Year Anniversay. Join them for delicious Strangeways brews and other locations around RVA. Station 2: 5p, On The Rox: 6:15p, Southern Railway: 7:30.

On Saturday, Strangeways’ three-year anniversary will offically commence at 11 am. There will be live music, games, wild animals, giant Jenga and a photo booth. There will be several food options and of course, over 40 Strangeways brews to choose from.

Triple Crossing and local Richmond artist, Samantha Brodek are collaborating to create a stunningly unique beer release and art show on Friday, July 8th. The artist will have a pop up exhibit and the brewery will release a tart ale brew.

It’s Christmas in July at Midnight Brewery! They will have their Christmas at Midnight brew available along with live music and food this Saturday.

Friday and Saturday Chesterfield’s Steam Bell Beer Works will have growler fills of Tiramisu Stout and Smoked Braggot.

Garden Grove Brewing in Carytown just announced its next beer dinner on July 25th with Danielle Goodreau, the new Executive Chef of Rancho T at the helm serving up five courses with five Garden Grove brews to go along with it. Tickets are $38, these usually sell out fast so get them while you can.

Final Gravity just released a new brew, “The Message” a double IPA brewed with Amarillo and Simcoe hops and fermented with RVA Yeast Labs Hoptopper strain. It’s fruity and delicious!
