Our cup is overflowing with news this week, but first head over here to check out what awesome brews were released in Richmond last weekend.

We’ve got new beer releases, special events and more so hold on to your mugs because we’re getting ready to tap this thing!

Today, (Wednesday) Hardywood will host a vegan pop up shop and a “Happy Fall” warehouse sale.
Seasonal drafts will be available, along with local food trucks serving VEGAN ONLY menus at 5:30. Take advantage of specials on packaged beer to go and get ahead of your holiday shopping with discounted merch for their warehouse sale.

Triple Crossing will have a tri-fecta beer launch this Saturday! On draft: Night Lands Russian Imperial Stout (with variants), OTC Pils, Lockout Series 3: Coagulation DIPA. Can’t be beat!

Isley is back this Friday with their weekly infusion. This time around it’s a Blueberry Pale Ale.

This Thursday, Garden Grove Brewing will release the 2016 edition of Guns N’ Rosé, a dry Rose. A very simple malt base fermented with wine and Belgian Saison yeasts ensures a fruity and dry brew, well suited to highlight flavors extracted from fermentation and aging in wine barrels.

Strangeways will have a triple release of their Gourd of Thunder variants this Sat. Oct. 8. Two bottled and all on draft, here is the rundown:

Oak Barred-Aged Pecan Gourd of Thunder Imperial Pumpkin Porter
(Draft and 750ml bottle)

Oak Barred-Aged Gingerbread Gourd of Thunder Imperial Pumpkin Porter
(Draft and 750ml bottle)

NEW THIS YEAR! Maple Bourbon Barrel-Aged Gourd of Thunder Imperial Pumpkin Porter
(Draft only)

Srangeways also recently announced their plan to expand with a second facility in Fredericksburg. Read more on that here.

Join Ardent Craft Ales this Saturday or the debut of “Störtebeker,” a hefeweizen brewed in collaboration with Heavy Seas Beer! This is a German style wheat beer heavily hopped with Hallertau Blanc hops.
