The legendary anime Princess Mononoke is reaching its 20th anniversary next year and movie theaters around the country, including at least one in the RVA area, are celebrating with a limited theatrical run.

The movie, directed by Hayao Miyazaki, pits man against gods in a fictional world where both plague the land. It’s a powerful story with some incredible English voice acting. It also might be all the more relevant in Trump’s America
