WEDNESDAY: Conditions At The Blue Nile In Harrisonburg!

by | Nov 11, 2011 | MUSIC

Considering that we’ve been telling you about how amazing Conditions are for quite a while, both in the magazine and here on the website, it’d be a shame if you haven’t checked them out by now. Or maybe you have, and were sufficiently impressed that you understand that you should see them every chance you get. Whichever one of these options describes your situation, we have the perfect prescription for you: next Wednesday, Conditions are playing at the Blue Nile in Harrisonburg. Granted, it’s a bit of a drive, but you’ll probably still get there more quickly than you would if you headed up to DC for a show–say what you will about Harrisonburg, it’s much less stressful to head up there than it is to brave the mixing bowl. And the drive is but a small price to pay for the good time you’ll no doubt experience once you arrive in Harrisonburg. Conditions have been touring on their 2010 album Fluorescent Youth for over a year now, but rumor has it that they’ve been playing a couple of new ones at recent shows. Plus, they’re joined by Westchester, NY’s Moving Mountains, whose vaguely progressive leanings add a touch of sophistication to their brand of heartfelt emo-core; and by local emo-pop group The Greater The Risk, who, with the recent addition of a new singer, are only headed upwards from here (click here to check out our recent interview with them). Overall, if you dig the emo sound as much as we do, you can’t possibly go wrong with this triple bill!
