In The Heat Of The Night Vol. 9: The Dog Days Of Summer

As we nosedive into the sultry sizzle of summer, the city’s asphalt starts to offer a small breath of relief but, let me tell you, Richmond’s nightlife doesn’t know the meaning of chill.

This week, our shutterbug in residence, Jody Adams, was beating the pavement, venturing everywhere from the ear-bleedingly loud metal shows deep in the Ipanema‘s underbelly, to the hip-thrusting rhythms of a jam-packed Love Club set at The Jungle Room. He caught a glimpse of the last house show of Kidz At Play in Oregon Hill, clinked glasses with the inked and beautiful at Helens, kicked back with pals at our beloved Shockoe Bottom haunt, McCormick’s, and of course, jostled amidst the ever-buzzing crowd at Bingo! Beer Co.

Believe you’ve got the knack for capturing Richmond’s pulsating nightlife in a single snap? Shoot us a message at hello@rvamag.com. We’re on the constant lookout for fresh talent eager to freeze-frame our city’s nocturnal dynamism.

Big ups to our friends at Bingo! Beer Co. for jumping on board with us on this ride. Trust me, you need to spin this nightlife gem at least once. And their lager? Damn, it’s quite good!
