Graphic design duo ASVP grace the cover of RVA #26 (top picture) and the issue contains an in-depth interview covering their unique approach and mysterious image. Also in the art department is a look at prolific artisan Marka27 and the spiritual and familial ties that make his work a resounding success. Over on the local music side, RVA #26 will feature profiles on hip-hop artists Peter $un and Ver$ace, as well as a chat with vicious metal band Left Cross. We have the story on why local studio Virginia Moonwalker has become such a destination for local artists, as well as a look at the Richmond connection within The Head And The Heart and their landmark new record. RVA #26 also looks outside Richmond’s great music scene to spotlight several noteworthy bands and artists scattered throughout the state, and this issue even has a detailed look inside the “Virginia Is For Music Lovers” campaign from Virginia Tourism and where it plans to go from here.
In addition to these discerning profiles, RVA #26 will feature its usual renowned coverage of craft beer, recording news, album reviews, and local artists that readers and business rely on to help keep abreast of Richmond’s ever changing scene. Due out October 2016, this yet another RVA Magazine issue you don’t want to miss.
