Growing steadily since their modest beginnings in 2010, the Nomadic Roots Festival has developed into a totally unique musical and artistic gathering. And this year, they’re prepared to take things to the next level!

Growing steadily since their modest beginnings in 2010, the Nomadic Roots Festival has developed into a totally unique musical and artistic gathering. And this year, they’re prepared to take things to the next level! With amazing headliners as well as top-notch local talent on tap, you’ll want to keep dancing all weekend long. The Festival is a three-day event, which begins on Thursday June 28. You’ll find two performing spaces at the festival, each stocked with incredible musical acts throughout the weekend, plus a plethora of performing artists, from fire performers and live painters to video mixers and artful lighting designers. Show up Thursday, set up camp, and get up with the get down–what better way to spend your pre-Fourth Of July weekend?

The Festival will be held at The Cove Campground in Gore, VA, located West of Winchester, off I-81. For detailed directions, click here. This beautiful venue comes complete with lakes, hot showers, and restroom facilities, as well as many enticing camping options. During the festival, there will be local arts and craft vending, delicious vegetarian cuisine provided with love by Goatacado.
