Regurgication RVA is an organization of like minded people based in Richmond, VA.

Regurgication RVA is an organization of like minded people based in Richmond, VA. We represent and share ourselves, and the things we find interesting with (among other things) this podcast. We are interested in music, art, books, parties, comedy, food, drink, politics, current events and much more. We strive to focus on the things people do to make life worth living and entertaining. This podcast is a record representing the interesting things and the people that do them.

It is the 25th of May and we are here on the YACHT with poet extraordinaire and microphone player of both BLK LLC and Gritter, Ryan Kent. We are also joined by a comrade of his and new friend of ours, Laurie. Tonight we chat chess, paint markers, burps, candle wax, Bill Cosby, the current event distracting us from what’s really going on (The Clintons and TRUMP’S hands), the past events that let us know we are of the same generation and have yet to age, the Virginia Governorship and Richmond Mayoral election process, Dana Carvey’s stand-up, O.J., the SUN, midday wreckless driving, and squirts. The most meaningful segment involves a moving poetry reading by Ryan and discussion centering on the MONUMENTAL importance of the LIFE and ART of PRINCE, and DEATH.

In 2005, I created RVA Magazine, and I'm still at the helm as its publisher. From day one, it’s been about pushing the “RVA” identity, celebrating the raw creativity and grit of this city. Along the way, we’ve hosted events, published stacks of issues, and, most importantly, connected with a hell of a lot of remarkable people who make this place what it is.
