EVIL! DISGUSTING! SICK! I am keeping it tame but a lot worse has been said by critics and supporters alike. He is considered a genius too but artist Joel Peter Witkin has caused outrage wherever he has been and you can see why. These are not computer generated cadavers, they were once living creatures now turned into marionettes and actors for his own vignettes. He blurs the lines and brings up conflicting emotions.

Feel free to feel “weird” about it.
