Doctor Astronaut’s Star Slam #4

Money issues are still plaguing some of us, while relationships of all kinds are exacerbating the situation for others. Generally speaking, we’re still in a period of hurry up and wait. Mars is going direct on Friday the 13th and it will give us a premature energy boost.

Money issues are still plaguing some of us, while relationships of all kinds are exacerbating the situation for others. Generally speaking, we’re still in a period of hurry up and wait. Mars is going direct on Friday the 13th and it will give us a premature energy boost.

It’s like sniffing a glass of your favorite bourbon when your hands are tied. It tickles the nose and wires the senses to prepare for the burn. By Sunday, we’ll feel as if we have all the power, but until our hands are untied, we can’t taste the payoff. The new moon in Taurus on the 21st is going to be a catalyst for the advancement of your goals, so choose them wisely. Then, you can finally take a sip of the payoff. And…ohhh, that’s good stuff.

Aries/Aries Rising
The Ram probably feels like escaping in some way, and whether it be literal or psychedelic, it’s actually not a bad idea for a little while. Mars direct is going to make you itchy to move, but the timing is not great. If you can stand to wait until after the weekend, you’ll be in much better shape to make decisions and sign contracts, and you’ll be packing more reserves–even if all you’ve got are your brain and your hooves. Relationship-wise, try not to think of change as a sign of downfall.

Taurus /Taurus Rising
Compartmentalization. That is your mantra. Keep working, and save up that cash money! The great thing about the bull is that you know how to work for the things you have, and you certainly appreciate the quality things in life. Keep it up through the weekend. You are about to get some attention from just the right kind of person for you, or maybe open your eyes about the one (or for some of you, two) of the people you’re already with. Prepare for some harsh criticism, and try not to take it too personally.

Gemini/Gemini Rising
Right now the twins need to be comforted and taken care of. Don’t think that it’s such a bad thing. That’s what families are for, and I’m not just talking about biological families. For one thing, you have a baby. “Your baby” may not literally mean your child, although it’s definitely a possibility. It can be another person, a hobby, or a goal. Either way, money seems to be holding you back. But fortunately, both of the distinct sides of your personality are shining with equal power. You probably don’t even realize it yet.

Cancer/Cancer Rising
You’re feeling more relaxed and less overtaken by the tide. The full moon brought some major issues surrounding family into focus. Don’t get too excited moonchild, it’s not over yet, but with one sideways step at a time, you are making efforts to reach people again. You’ve been somewhat evasive. Open up a little and try to have some fun. Here’s a hint: you don’t have to spill your guts. Career-wise, you are in for some luck, but it won’t feel like it financially until after the 15th. Consider printing some business cards.

Leo/Leo Rising
I hope you followed my advice last week. You’re up to bat after this weekend, career-wise, so hopefully you’ve been using your resources wisely and fairly. If not, you may have found a comfortable situation that will carry you in that general direction. Either way, Leoneans are on the rise. You’ve been enjoying some intellectual exchange and may even be expanding your own thought processes lately. It will take you far, lions and lionesses.

Virgo/Virgo Rising
Sweet Virgo is all amped up on Mars right now, which has been retrograde, and holding back progress for too long. You’ve got things to do and people to see–or, uhh… maybe its the other way around! It goes direct on Friday, which will be helpful, but your financial upsets won’t actually peak until the 15th. Then you can look forward to relaxation and fun times. Your hard work is going to pay off. You’re looking great, Virgo. Classic style as usual. So sit back, relax, and let him or her come to you.

Libra/Libra Rising
You’ve been learning lessons about people, and are painfully reminded of the injustices in life. This makes you crazy, as a person who values balance and fairness over any other approach. After all, it’s timeless advice. Stay true to the person you want to be because, either consciously or subconsciously, you’ve been making some changes in patterns. Some of them are probably not by your own free will. You need perspective as various partnerships are being tested. Wait til the weekend is over, and then plan a getaway.

Scorpio/Scorpio Rising
You reel them in, you push them away. As much of a lone wolf you think you are, Scorpio, you actually need relationships with people. Partnerships are good for you now if you choose wisely. Your relationships may have gotten muddled over boundary issues, but you are beginning to find clarity there. Get organized over the weekend and start thinking about a few reunions. You are preparing for the coming months. Scorpio is also represented by the eagle.

Sagittarius/Sagittarius Rising
Archers may have changed careers in ways that didn’t quite move you up, but it definitely moved you sideways, probably in preparation for further changes. If you are involved in the media or anything creative, you are going to experience some extra luck. You are seeing some of the finer qualities of the person you’ve been spending your time with. Get on a health routine. Any routine, for that matter. You might be considering an addition to the family. A puppy, perhaps?

Capricorn/Capricorn Rising
It’s all about the home right now. Plans, blueprints, landscaping, fixing windows, doorknobs, decorating… whether it be yours or someone else’s, you’ve been working to spruce the place up. You quite possibly have met the love of your life, or you’re about to. If you are attached, you may have made some assessments about person you’re with. Expect a call from somebody that has really been on your mind. This may be somebody that you work with, somehow. I’d recommend a vacation. Bring him or her if you like.

Aquarius/Aquarius Rising
You seem to have a skip in your step and you’re fairly easygoing lately, and for that, you are rather endearing to those around you now. You seem to be happy to go along with whatever shenanigans everyone else is into. It’s Spring! And as much as the icky love stuff makes you cringe, you also know that it’s a part of life. Try to embrace it. If your home situation has been changing, don’t settle for anything less than what works for you. You may be able to get some help from your folks.

Pisces/Pisces Rising
You may have been dealing with more than a few aggressive personalities. Maybe no more than anybody else, but you are sensitive to psychic impressions. It’s likely you are owed some money. There is a some sort of partner, romantic or otherwise, that understands you. I would suggest combining your energies. Now is the time for you to collaborate. Take advantage of your creative powers. You are beginning to make some personal environmental improvements that may help this along. Rework the budget, and stay confident. Your romantic life will benefit from travel.
