Illustrator Jason Levesque is a self-taught digital artist. Drawing inspiration from traditional pinup art, Levesque’s prints depict “pretty girls” intertwined in manifestations of both the beautiful and ugly faces of the natural world.

Illustrator Erik Jones, a graduate of the Ringling College of Art and Design, shares the same fondness for pinup art. However, unlike Levesque, Jones employs traditional methods of drawing and painting to render his “sexy, fun, realistic and edgy” female figures.

Both Levesque and Jones’ illustrations have graced the pages and covers of numerous magazines and comic books.

I created Richmond, Virginia’s culture publication RVA Magazine and brought the first Richmond Mural Project to town. Designed the first brand for the Richmond’s First Fridays Artwalk and promoted the citywide “RVA” brand before the city adopted it as the official moniker. I threw a bunch of parties. Printed a lot of magazines. Met so many fantastic people in the process. Professional work: www.majormajor.me
