Richmond Mural Project 2013 Kicks Off With A Day of Art, Music, and Community at Selba

Last Saturday afternoon, Art Whino and RVA Magazine got together at Selba to present the official opening reception for the Richmond Mural Project. Plenty of our fellow RVA citizens came out to celebrate with us, have drinks, dance to tunes provided by Long Jawns, Mike Kemetic, and DJ Phenom, and most importantly, watch several of the Richmond Mural Project artists do what they do best. Greg Mike, Angry Woebots, Stormie Mills, and other muralists joined forces to create a mural in real time over the course of the afternoon, and we got some great shots of all of them in action. Here are some highlights:
