Before your lengthy list gives sends you into a frenzy, head over to Chop Suey Books’ 12th annual Bizarre Holiday Market to help you cross at least a few things off.

“We really try to pick enough variety that you can find something for people of different shapes and sizes,” said Bird Cox, Bizarre Market manager. “I think what people should know about handmade market’s especially is that typically it is higher quality than what you are going to find in any other store that sell massed produced things.”

“People have really put their hearts and souls into making these items, and you can tell. They’re well-built and well designed and all of the money is going back into the local economy.”

The Market features an eclectic mix of crafter’s every year and continues to be a community favorite.

“We do try to swap people out because we do get so many applications,” Cox said. “But we do have a few fan favorites that return year after year.”
