Scott Dickens moved to Richmond in 1989 and quickly embedded himself in the local music scene with his band Just Because, playing every venue that would have them—and a few that wouldn’t. Today, he runs the brand marketing agency Rocket Pop with his wife, Cara, and still plays around town with his acoustic band, Strummer. He’s easily distracted by guitars and strong, dark beverages.
