Can’t buy me love? Yes, no, maybe? The majority of missed connections happened in a grocery story this week. Check this week’s roundup to see if the rainbow sticker meant what you thought or if the person you liked wants to share a conversation with some beer and wine.

Curly brown hair at Village Cafe – m4w
I am a regular at the Village and noticed you right away since you must be new – you were our server for lunch last week on Tuesday. You mentioned my GWARBQ tshirt and how sad you are that there isn’t going to be a festival this year – me too. I just wanted to say you are incredibly cute and friendly and that you made my day. Maybe I won’t be such a wuss next time and ask you if you wanna get a beer sometime.

Martin’s On Midlothian Bakery Guy – m4m (Charter Colony)
I was in the Martin’s on Midlothian Turnpike and Charter Colony the other day . You helped me order a cake on the Ukrop’s computer kiask / stand. We both laughed at how we needed glasses. I thought you were very charming and very polite and quite handsome. You seem to be in your forties (as am I). I did not think much else of it until you walked away and i saw your tiny rainbow sticker on your cell phone case. I was going to approach you and talk but there were so many people around so i thought i would try here first. If you remember me and would like to talk and maybe go out on a date, please HMU and tell me what i looked like so i know its you.

Every time I go to the Aldi on Arthur Ashe at Broad St., En Su Boca tries to seduce me with its tequila and tacos perfume. It doesn’t work all the time, but I feel the pull when I’m browsing the nonsense in Aldi’s middle aisle. I once bought sweatpants there. I’m not...
