Moments after sending the Seahawks to the Super Bowl, cornerback Richard Sherman’s post game interview set the twitterverse on fire.

Moments after sending the Seahawks to the Super Bowl, cornerback Richard Sherman’s post game interview set the twitterverse on fire. By calling out San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Micheal Crabtree and dissing him on national television, Sherman showed some real honest emotions.

Maybe not the classiest way to go about winning the big game, but some people went straight racist with their remarks.

For those that don’t know Richard Sherman played at Stanford–not exactly “the hood.” Good to know racism is still alive on this Martin Luther King holiday weekend.
