Best of RVA Missed Connections 11/21/17-11/28/17

by | Nov 28, 2017 | WTF?!

This week’s batch of RVA Missed Connections is cluttered with memories of “Island Love”, Peeping Toms in Richmond alleys, someone on the hunt for a thief with a tiger tattoo, and a 420-friendly “queen” in search of the perfect gentleman. All this and more below.

You smiled at me in Chick Fil A – m4w (Near Willow Lawn)

We made eye contact Saturday afternoon. You smiled at me and gave me a “come hither” look. I keep thinking about that look you gave me. You were definitely easy on the eyes. You should email me. Tell me what color your tights were so I know it’s you.

Island love – m4w (Richmond)

Beauty ….. you are the definition of beauty , I couldn’t if I was the greatest artist draw a more beautiful person . One thing about your beauty it start on the inside and I know this is true because I and only I have seen you at your most comfortable meaning you where always comfortable being yourself around me and I feel blessed to be the person that you gave that to . The need for you in my life is a must , I dream it when I sleep ,and when I’m awake … I can’t wait to hold you and feel that feeling again . I love you baby

David at Riverside – w4m

We met in the elevator at our apartment building several weeks ago, I was just getting off work and you were coming in with your dog. You also mentioned you were a medic in the army. I’ve seen you around since then but only in passing. If you see this, message me the name of your dog and we can go get coffee.

Closing your blinds topless, an apology – m4w (Shockoe)

I was standing in the alley and caught something out of the corner of my eye.. I looked up to see someone closing their blinds, and happened to see more than you probably wanted anyone to. As soon as I realized what I was seeing, I tried to look away out of respect, but it was too late, and I’m pretty sure you saw me. Just wanted to apologize. But if that wasn’t your intent, please try to be more careful. No one deserves to see something that nice from the alley. 🙂

Review | ‘Confederates’ Doesn’t Let Anyone Off Easy

“Oh, I’m going to have a field day with this.” These were my exact words to friend and artist Kyle Epps as I got up from my seat at Firehouse Theatre Saturday night. As we shuffled out of the theatre into the lobby, I took inventory of the stack of insights Dominique...
