Ryan at Helzberg Diamonds – w4m (Colonial Heights)

It was really great talking to you. I wish I knew your last name to find you on FB. I was with the bridal party when she picked her ring up. I wanted to ask you for your number but was too shy. You’re a beautiful man with a great personality. I hope you see this!
Xoxo,

 Charles..I will always wonder – w4m (23220)

Where you went. Why you quit talking to me. If everything you shared was a lie. Did your wife find out? Were you scared to meet me in person? I thought we were developing something beautiful and safe. I can move on but I will always wonder.

re: Charles…I will always wonder

No.
I realized what a self-absorbed, crazy bitch you are. Also, a friend let me know about the STD.

I wonder if it’s the same Charles… – w4mw (Doesn’t matter)

To the woman who posted for “Charles” .. I wonder if it’s the same one I have been speaking to for the last 2 years. He hasn’t met me either, don’t feel bad. But the only difference between us is that if I knew he was married I wouldn’t have even bothered. Could he be a robot? Just a sweet talker? Maybe he’s just a man who is there to help women like us get over old flings? He said he loved me , probably you too huh? What a joke. And a waste of two years. Good luck ma’am.

Brunette male looking for blonde female with glasses – m4w (stayover suites)

I don’t know if you’re on here, but it’s worth a shot. I don’t even know your name yet, but here’s hoping. You’re blonde, fit, wear glasses, and we have spent a lot of time out at the smoke spot this weekend. You prefer wine over Blue Moon, even though that’s all I currently have. I would love to get to know you better. Same hotel, 1314. All you have to do is knock. I’ve been in the grey v-neck all day.

Wrong, wrong, wrong… – m4w (Richmond)

We see each other all the time. Everywhere. In line at Starbucks. At the grocery store. In the gym. Sometimes you’re beside me at traffic lights. Maybe I work with you. We make eye contact, smile, and there’s…something. I’d love to talk to you. See you. Spend some time with you. But you see the ring on my finger; and I notice you wear one, too. So it’s all wrong. Isn’t it…?

Brown hair cutie at Kulture – m4w (Rva)

Came in the other night and got to talking to you. Ended up telling me your name but I didn’t want to be weird and exchange numbers as I’m sure you have a boyfriend. You seem like an amazing person that makes the room flow when you walk into it. I hope whoever your with makes you happy. Your beautiful and I hope you get told that everyday.

Have you ever had a ‘dad crush’? – m4w

This “missed connections” is more or less for any women who may have had a crush on one of their friend’s dad. While it is true, that I am an older guy, 38 to be exact, I’m curious if there are any women who would like to share their thoughts about when they had a crush on their friend’s dad. What was it about him that made you crush on him? Did he know? Do you secretly crush on older men, even though you’re still 18, 19, or 20? I’d love to chat with you if you do.

Review | ‘Confederates’ Doesn’t Let Anyone Off Easy

“Oh, I’m going to have a field day with this.” These were my exact words to friend and artist Kyle Epps as I got up from my seat at Firehouse Theatre Saturday night. As we shuffled out of the theatre into the lobby, I took inventory of the stack of insights Dominique...

What Happened Before the Video?

There are two sides to every story, but a lot of the time, the first narrative is the one that sticks. Case in point: last week, an altercation broke out during one of the weekly neighborhood rides organized by the Broad Street Bullies. The ride has happened every...

Can Ellwood Thompson’s Survive Its Owners?

What is Ellwood Thompson’s now? That feels like a fair question most people should be asking right now after this week’s news that the company that owns one of Richmond’s most recognizable stores is being taken over by another company whose primary business is data...
