Our cup is overflowing with news this week, but first head over here to check out what awesome brews were released in Richmond last weekend.

On Saturday June 4th, Triple Crossing will release the first in its Lockout Series, Battle Creek. THhe brewery will start serving up this juicy DIPA at 12 pm.

Isley Brewing is back once again this Friday with their weekly infusion, this time a Mango Ginger Golden Ale. Only 1 keg so make sure to get there early!

Ardent Craft Ales is gearing up for these hot summer days with their Ruye Kolsch & Honey Ginger releases on Saturday. The Honey Ginger is a 7.8% deep gold-colored summer ale and the kolsch is 4.7% brew which uses rye malt instead of wheat for this German pilsner-style ale. This will be your first chance to savor these two limited-run brews. ZZQ will be outside serving food beginning at 12pm.

Strangeways will release a double radler on Saturday, a pineapple and lemon ginger. The 3.2 radlers are light and perfect for hanging around and easy drinking for summer.

Grab your running shoes and be ready to drink some beer because Legend Brewing, along with the James River Outdoor Coalition have partnered to put together the James River Run this Saturday. Registration costs $30 for a four-mile run through the James River Park system. Afterward, enjoy some brews on Legend’s patio with proceeds going to benefit JROC.

On Monday, the public can enjoy Legend’s newest brew, the Cold Harbor Kolsch, perfect for this warm weather.

IF you’re looking to enjoy some brews outside of RVA, head over to Starr Hill in Charlottesville. The brewery will celebrate National Doughnut Day Celebration on Friday June 3rd by pairing some Carpe Donuts with their Little Red RooStarr Coffee Cream Stout.

Center of the Universe in Ashland will bring back Monkey’s Uncle,a Lemongrass Tripel for a release on Saturday. Live music from Vexine and food trucks.

Lickinghole Creek will release their Maple Bourbon Brown Ale on Saturday. The ale, clocking in at 10%, had Vermont Maple Syrup added to an Imperial Brown Ale and was aging in Kentucky Bourbon Barrels
