We’ve got beer releases for the Carytown Watermelon Festival, Virginia Craft Beer Month events and more so hold on to your mugs because we’re getting ready to tap this thing!

The Carytown Watermelon Festival is here again which means Garden Grove Brewing Company is releasing a new bright & tangy Watermelon Sparkler! Crafted with about 40 gallons of fresh-cut, VA-grown watermelon cubes & juice, wildflower honey, rice, French Strisselspat Hops, and wine yeast… this baby has a robust herbal sweet aroma and dry tart watermelon flavor… for days. (gluten-free)

Also, premiering this week at Garden Grove Brewing Co. is the Red Baron – a nontraditional Belgian Red Ale fermented in red wine barrels and crafted with pomegranate juice & pomegranate seeds. The seeds team up with a healthy dose of Mosaic hops- making for a dynamite bitterness, strong enough to balance those rich fruit & malt flavors.

Hardywood will release its Galaxy So Hazy DIPA this weekend. It’s an 8.0% DIPA featuring heavy doses of Galaxy, Nelson, and Hallertau Blanc in both the kettle and dry hop. This is a collab brew with Triple Crossing!

Isley Brewing will release its weekly infusion on Friday. This week, its a Blackberry Gose.

The brewery will also release its Seed Sitter Watermelon Belgian White Ale on Saturday. It will be available in Carytown bars for the Carytown Watermelon Festival and at Isley.

Steam Bell Beer Works will continue its Randall series on Thursday, this time with their Tiramisu Stout. I’s a milk stout brewed with vanilla beans, coffee and rum soaked oak chips and they are adding fresh toasted coconut.

The brewery will also release Red Dog, 5.3% light bodied saison fermented with hibiscus tea and lime on Saturday.

Strangeways will release its I Cary’d A Watermelon Berliner Weisse this Friday.
