Our cup is overflowing with news this week, but first head over here to check out what awesome brews were released in Richmond last weekend.

We’ve got new releases and anniversaries and other cool events going on so hold on to your mugs because we’re getting ready to tap this thing!

Hardywood will release their Peach Cru, an Abbey style Quadrupel aged in VA bourbon barrels, on Saturday. Perfect for summer and hot days!

On Saturday, Strangeways Brewing will release, “Must Be Nice” a white wine sour. With this 4.5% sour, Niagara white wine grapes, skin intact, are freshly pressed to form a special grape must, a pivotal ingredient in their newest sour beer recipe.

The brewery will also host a Bow-Wow Meow Luau on Sunday to benefit Richmond Animal Care and Control. THe luau will feature craft beer & food trucks, face painting & Hawaiian costume contests, a silent auction and a RACC adoption stand.

Isley Brewing is teaming up with The Savory Grain for an amazing Southern Seafood Boil on Sunday, June 26th from 1-5pm. Two tables will be at the brewery piled high with fresh crawfish, shrimp, sausage, potatoes, and corn and it’s all you can eat! Tickets are $35 and are now on sale and can be purchased here.

Lickinghole Creek will host Goochland Chamber of Commerce’s Second Annual Cornhole Tournament and there will be a bourbon barrel tripel release Saturday from 12 to 8 pm. $40 to register your team for the cornhole tournament. Receive a Special T-Shirt For Entry and a chance to win a LCCB Tap Handle Trophy, and a LCCB Speciatly Bottle 3 Pack.

This Saturday, Ardent will celebrate two years with a block party at their Scotts Addition location featuring a huge lineup of Ardent and guest brews, cider, food trucks, live music and outdoor entertainment. 1-8 pm.

Busekey Cider in Scott’s Addition has just launched Nitro tapped cider.
