Our cup is overflowing with news this week, but first head over here to check out what awesome brews were released in Richmond last weekend.
We’ve got new releases, and other cool events going on so hold on to your mugs because we’re getting ready to tap this thing!
Commonwealth Catholic Charities is hosting a Barrels, Brews and BBQ event this Saturday, July 30th at James River Cellars in Glen Allen. The outdoor festival will feature live music from Sons of Zebedee, Virginia wines and craft beers, and BBQ. Advanced tickets are $20 and will be $25 at the door. Ticket price includes first beverage ticket (good for wine or beer) and a souvenir cup. All proceeds go to support Commonwealth Catholic Charities’ programs.

Steam Bell Beer Works continues with their Randall series this Thursday, this time bringing in the Grisette, one of their flagship beers. The Grisette is a light bodied saison that is sessionable with slight notes of pepper and spice and the Chesterfield brewery is enhancing it with lemon zest and peppercorns.

The brewery will also bring back its Time is Money, a 6.3% farmhouse IPA, this Friday so get that before it runs out!

Isley Brewing is bringing their weekly Friday Infusion to you again this week, tis time its a Vanilla Mint Lemon IPA.

Ardent Craft Ales will release their Nelson Sauvin Saison this Saturday. This farmhouse-style ale brews saison with New Zealand Nelson Sauvin hops giving this beer aromas of freshly crushed grape.

Center of the Universe will host a grand re-opening this Saturday. The Ashland brewery has completely renovated the tasting room and private events sections and would like you to come check out the new digs! COTU will have bands all day and food trucks on site.
Garden Grove will back some old favorites this weekend. The Carytown brewery will release Spice Trade, Belgian Golden Rye, Hibiscus Harlequin (Amber Saison), and a fresh batch of Southern Session IPA.
