Today Triple Crossing Brewing announced plans to expand with a second location in the Greater Fulton area.

Today Triple Crossing Brewing announced plans to expand with a second location in the Greater Fulton area.

The Foushee Street brewery purchased a 30,000 square foot building at 5203 Hatcher St. on Friday Feb. 5. The property is just over four acres and according to co-owner Scott Jones, the new bigger space will allow them to grow their production output, provide another tasting room, and a bigger outdoor experience for all of their craft beer fans.

“We’ll have different offerings at both places, while still keeping our flagships online at both,” Jones said. “The main benefit of this bigger facility is we’ll be able to focus on brewing our core beers at a much larger capacity and provide more beer there.

He added that the new facility will have 75 parking spaces and since it’s on four acres, they will be able to put in a beer garden with the extra outdoor space.

Jones said the Greater Fulton area brewery will have a 20 barrel brewing system and at least 15 tap lines. Triple Crossing plans to provide draft as well as canned beer to that market beginning with Falcon Smash IPA, one of their flagship beers.

“We’re going to focus almost exclusively our hoppy beers in cans,” he said.

The brewery won’t have their own canning line, but we’ll be using mobile canning business, Old Dominion Canning. Check out our story on them here.

Triple Crossing has been working on expansion plans for the Fulton brewery for the last six to eight months. The brewery used the help of Jones Lang LaSalle before deciding on the building.

Jones said the brewery owners looked at Manchester and Monroe Ward before landing on the Fulton area.

“We wanted to stay in the city, I think there’s a massive amount of growth potential in Fulton,” he said.” “We knew that there’s market demand there, but we wanted to find a spot that was going to fit us for years and years to come and give us that space to grow.”

Jones, along with co-owners Jeremy Wirtes and Adam Worcester opened their 2,900 square foot facility on Foushee Street in April 2014.

And Jones didn’t have an exact opening date in mind just yet, he did say the brewery was shooting to have the Fulton brewery up and pouring by the fourth quarter of this year or the first quarter of 2017.

Be on the lookout for more updates from us on their expansion!
