WINTER 2015

by | Dec 21, 2015

The weather is growing colder, the year is drawing to a close, and the time approaches for the release of RVA Magazine’s final issue of 2015. We’re ending the year with yet another awesome issue to wrap up our ten year anniversary in fine fashion. We’ll be covering the arts, music, and culture of our fair city as only RVA Mag can do! It all starts with an in-depth investigation into the work of artist Darryl Starr, who gained fame as an artist in NYC but has recently returned to his roots here in RVA. We’ll also talk to Lamb Of God vocalist D. Randall Blythe on the occasion of his new memoir, Dark Days.

That’s not all we’ve got for you, though; we’ll also be looking at a great deal of local music from all sorts of different genres, from buzzworthy singer-songwriter Natalie Prass to up-and-coming young talent Lucy Dacus. We’ll be profiling the peripatetic, experimental duo Lobo Marino, and getting a closer look at RVA hip hop’s next big thing, Divine Council!

All of this as well as our unparalleled RVA On Tap coverage of the local craft beer scene, our top 5 local albums of 2015, and quite a bit more awaits you in this new issue. Don’t miss out!
