Ballyhoo! Kicks Off Pineapple Grenade Tour Tonight At The NorVa!

If you missed Ballyhoo! in RVA last October, you’ve got another chance to see them at The NorVa tonight! To celebrate the album that helped the band hit 50,000 Facebook fans this month, Ballyhoo! kicks off their Pineapple Grenade Tour on March 7th. With the arrival of spring around the corner the boys from Aberdeen, Maryland are out on the road touring the south east with 20 new tour dates promoting their new album, Pineapple Grenade. The band’s Spring lineup will also include festival slots at SXSW, Crawfest at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, Skate & Surf Festival in Middletown, NJ and more TBA soon.

The hit single “No Good”, produced by Rome Ramirez (Sublime with Rome), mixed by Paul Leary (Sublime, U2) and directed by Wes Armstrong (B.o.B, T-Pain, Flo Rida) has been featured on fusetv as the single of the day. It has also been receiving a lot of air time on local and national radio stations. With the new hit song “Run” hitting #1 on the SiriusXM Action Chart, and the album, Pineapple Grenade, hitting #4 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart, #5 on ITunes Alternative Chart, and #189 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart, you will want to make sure that you see this show and have a listen to these great new songs LIVE!

Ballyhoo! always puts on a high energy punk rock reggae show that leaves fans wanting more. With Howi Spangler’s mean licks on guitar and smooth vocals he sets the mood. J. R. Gregory slapping the bass and putting down deep grooves gets everyone moving. Scott Vandrey on keys, turntables and vocals creates perfect rhythmn and harmony, and Donald Spangler’s precise syncopation on drums drives the whole set. Fans cannot help but sing along to Ballyhoo!’s infectious music as it seamlessly crosses several genre and attracts a diverse fan base. So this early show is perfect for ALL AGES!
