What better way to ring in the new year than with one of the best metal bands in the scene right now?

What better way to ring in the new year than with one of the best metal bands in the scene right now?

Oakland, CA’s, High on Fire is a force to be reckoned with. Featuring ex-Sleep guitarist Matt Pike and whoever he’s playing with at the moment, Jeff Matz (Holy Terror) and Des Kensel round out the current lineup of High On Fire, which first ripped up stages and eardrums back in the late 90’s. Check out the awesome video for “Devilution” from 2005’s Blessed Black Wings.

This tour seems to be a build up to their new album, their first since 2012’s De Vermis Mysteriis.

Check out “Romulus and Remus” below:

Tickets are only $20, and RVA’s own Windhand is the opener.

This show should be sick. Pick up your tickets to it here.
