Washington, DC hip hop artist Wale will stop at The National in October as part of his tour.

Rising to fame in 2009 for his hit single, “Chillin” off his debut album Attention Deficit, Wale has since gone on to sign with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group and release three more albums.

His most recent album, 2015’s The Album About Nothing, came out with high praise and the hip hop artist is slated to release a followup called Shine which will be out in the fall according to The Source.

To give you a taste of what we can expect on the album, (and hopefully at the show) Wale released his first single, “My PYT” off the upcoming album in May.

Catch Wale at The National Oct. 28 at 8 pm. Tickets are $33 and you can get them here.
