In the Heat of the Night Vol. 10: Sizzlin’ Summer BBQ

by | Aug 12, 2023 | ART, FASHION, MUSIC, NIGHTLIFE, PHOTOGRAPHY, ROCK & INDIE, STREETWEAR & SNEAKERS

In the River City, when the summer sun dips below the horizon, the nightlife ignites, pulsing with a rhythm all its own, a rocking vibe that captures the city’s true spirit.

Our on-the-ground lensman, Jody Adams, has been out there, guitar pick in one hand, camera in the other, hitting everything from The Camel‘s fiery live shows to City Beach‘s electrifying AC DC tribute. He even dived into Gallery5‘s art scene and got swept up in the frenzied world of gaming at Bingo! Beer Co. The beat goes on, and Adams is there, strumming along with his camera.

Think you can snap Richmond’s nocturnal groove in a photograph? Drop us a line at hello@rvamag.com. We’re always scouting for fresh faces with the right tune to chronicle our city’s nightly dance.

A major shout-out to the rock stars at Bingo! Beer Co. for joining the band on this ride. Trust us, you need to tune into this nightlife hit at least once. And their lager? Man, it’ll hit the right chord.
