by | Dec 5, 2016 | ROCK & INDIE

The Head and the Heart dropped their latest album, Signs of Light, this fall on Warner Bros., debuting at #5 on the Billboard 200 and topping the Rock Album chart at #1.

While the band’s roots are in Seattle, longtime RVA folks know better—several members have deep ties to Richmond, and the city still feels like part of the story.

The new record’s been getting love from both fans and critics, with the band bringing their single “All We Ever Knew” to national stages like The Ellen ShowThe Late Show with Stephen ColbertCBS Saturday Morning, and Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

They’ve been out on the road all fall, playing packed rooms and earning strong reviews for their live show. WXPN praised their evolution, saying the band is “working with change admirably, adjusting and growing and thrilling a capacity crowd along the way.” LA blog Grimy Goods added, “The Head and The Heart know how to make you feel, that’s for sure.”

Now, that tour swings through Virginia, with the band headlining two big nights: The National on 12/15 and The NorVa in Norfolk on 12/17.

Grab your tickets now, we’ll see you there.
