Richmond’s own pop-punk band Broadside has been signed to mega-indie Victory Records. Their debut full length Old Bones, fresh from studio space provided by Victory, will be out on May 19th.

Since the beginning of the year, Broadside has made noise: Alternative Press magazine listed them as one of their “100 Artists You Need To Know in 2015”. New Noise Magazine dubbed them “a band to watch in 2015”.

“It’s an indescribable feeling being represented on a label like Victory Records,” said frontman Ollie Baxxter in a press release. “The roster alone raised each one of us through our angsty teenage years and was a stepping stone of pure influence in our individual musical endeavors.”

The band has made music in Richmond since 2010 and has had music shared around the world. All five members of the band are Richmonders.
