Richmond once again has a busy weekend afoot. Among the array of choices for your weekend activity, Siix7 will be performing this Saturday at the Canal Club along with River City Dogs, Westhampton Citybillies and Roma. This lineup of assorted rock heavyweights should make it worth your while.

Siix7: “Alternative Avant Garde Bohemian Hip-hop — For a little over a year Siix7 has allowed thought to manifest itself through spoken word and artistic sound. The result continues to move within the minds of those who desire to hear the voice of musical consciousness.”

River City Dogs: “River City Dogs was founded in February 2010 with the intention to play straight forward rock and hard rock music […] formed out of a want, or you could call it a need, to let the music out.”

Westhampton Citybillies: “The Westhampton CityBillies, aka WCB, seamlessly integrate various genres of Rock & Roll into a cohesive blend that is both pleasing to one’s ears and one’s soul. The typical WCB set-list ranges from acoustic folk to full throttle electric guitar rock. When attending a WCB show, you never know what is coming up next! Every WCB performance features unique original songs complimented by an array of eclectic covers.”

Roma: “ROMA blends punk rock with folk, americana, rockabilly, and Romani based movements and scales. Lyrically the band implores more grandiose themes and metaphors to both mask and explore more personal material. The band feels just as at home in an acoustic setting as they do in a gritty whiskey club.”

WHERE: The Canal Club, 1545 East Cary Street RVA
WHEN: Saturday, July, 14th, Doors open at 8 PM
