Richmond get ready to rejoice. The once RVA-based pysch-folk group The Diamond Center is on tour, has a new album and will be making a stop here this Friday at Black Iris for their album release party.

Their third full length new album, Crystals For the Brass Empire came out back in August via Egghunt Records, Steady Sounds Records, Funny/Not Funny.

The band, known for bouncing around from place to place, has currently planted roots in Austin but will be back to celebrate the new album. We caught up with The Diamond Center right before they dropped the album, you can read more on that here.

Check out the album below:

The Diamond Center will come to Black Iris at 321 W. Broad St. this Sat. Oct. 3 with Big No and DJ Marty Violence. Show starts at 9 pm.
