There’s a little over two weeks left until DC plays host to a one-of-a-kind festival, one that is sure to be a treat to the majority of your senses. Steez Promo, the same people behind the Starscape Festival, in conjunction with Underworld, have booked a massive roster of many of the leading EDM artists in the industry today. Acts ranging from super-electronic-heavyweight Moby, to UK dubstep legends Skream & Benga, have been booked. Filling, or shall I say, complimenting, the rest of the roster are acts that have toured all over the world and when combined, have made their mark in nearly every type of production genre presently known. Not to mention, the festival is being custom-built, from the ground up, on the grounds of one of the largest parking lots in Washington, DC!
The Contest: Lucky for you, we have one pair of two GA tickets to give away to one lucky (and creative!) reader. Seeing as this is taking place a mere two days after everyone’s favorite day to eat turkey, I thought it’d be a great way to see how creative some of you can be with this iconic poultry. The objective of this contest is simple: take a picture of you and a turkey. You can pose with a live turkey, a dead uncooked turkey, a fully dressed and ready to eat turkey, or even a picture of a turkey that your kid sister drew. We won’t be picky about that, as long as some form of turkey is in the picture with you. The crazier the picture, the better chance you have of winning. The harder we laugh, the higher up in ranking you will be. The more creative the picture of you and the turkey, the better.
Rules and Regulations: The winner will be notified by Wednesday, November 23. All submissions must be sent to Alex (at) rvamag.com before noon, November 22.
