6th Annual Jonny Z Fest This Saturday, Josh Small, Hot Dolphin, Black Liquid + More

This weekend, North Shields Avenue will be used to remember a famed local artist – Jonny Zanin. Zanin died in 2007 at the age of 26.

This weekend, North Shields Avenue will be used to remember a famed local artist – Jonny Zanin. Zanin died in 2007 at the age of 26. Organizers of the fest will gather for the 6th year in a row to help celebrate his life and support local youth-art collective Art 180.

“The festival honors his legacy, celebrates his spirit, and promotes art, music, community and friendship.”

A raffle drawing will include restaurant gift certificates and other great prizes, even a free bike from Bunnyhop! Commemorative T-shirts will be for sale. And ART 180’s Teen Leadership group will provide activities including the Wheel of Kindness. ART 180 volunteers will be painting faces throughout the day.
