The 10th annual Richmond Zombie Walk helped perpetuate the zombie craze in Carytown last Saturday. Dressed as zombies, people from Richmond and surrounding areas walked slowly down the sidewalks of Carytown, frightening (or at least amusing) passerby, many of whom had gathered to see the scene go down. Some zombies were very good at staying in character, while others couldn’t help but laugh. At the end of the event, prizes were awarded in several different costume categories, such as “Best Pop Culture Theme.” This year, the organizers of the walk decided to donate the money raised to the “American Cancer Society. Over 500 dollars were raised, and a good time was had by all.
