With 60+ performers schedule to play on eight different stages, FloydFest brings to you Grace Potter, Brandi Carlile, Emmylou Harris and Rodney Crowell, Drive-By-Truckers, Leftover Salmon, Trampled by Turtles, Keller Williams, Grateful Grass with Jeff Austin & others, and plenty others.
For those seeking to live the life at the festival, there are also High-Roller all access VIP tickets that include options for single adults, youth, kids, and pairs as well. These VIP tickets include onstage seating, fully catered meals, complimentary beer and wine, private lounges, free massage and backstage camping area, onsite parking with golf cart shuttles to and from your car, campsite, or musical paradise; and they will also have commemorative photos, Wi-Fi, a charging station and, organic doughnuts for breakfast with Red Rooster coffee or tea served all day.
For those coming in large groups, the HOV EZ pass tickets may be more of more convenience and fortunately, Floydfest has created an official Facebook page for rideshare networking.
Floydfest offers six different camping and parking options with two of them being sold out already. Perhaps you are looking to have a great time at the festival and don’t want to spend your night in the outdoors, floydfest.com has compiled a great deal of information on lodging options that are close enough to the festival grounds.
Festivals are not all just about the music but connecting and creating friendships with people who all have at least one thing in common with you – a love of festivals – so FloydFest has scheduled various activities that take place all throughout the days suitable for most ages.
For outdoor event lovers, there will be paddling and floating down the Little River in Floyd County, guided tour hikes, backpacking hikes, and Innova Disc Golf, mountain bike trailing.
If you have a family with little ones, FloydFest has given the consideration of signing up for childcare options at the Blue Mountain School located nearby. If you are bringing your kids to join the adventure with you there will be nature related games, ukulele shows and workshops, and Taekwondo workshops.
Other events to take place during the FloydFest include mixed media and art workshops for teens. There will be chill zones with snacks provided for those who need to take a break from the festival life. Whether you need to recollect yourself or just relax and have fun, feel free to join others in the healing arts activities like mindfulness meditation, hoop classes, drumming workshops, yoga sessions, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, and Qigong workshops.
There are a limited amount of tickets going on sale for various prices depending on how long and luxurious you want your experience to be. Tickets are being sold for 3, 4 and 5 day stay options as well as single day tickets for adults, youth, and kids.
