Every year Black Friday seems to get bigger, longer and crazier and we as humans just can’t seem to get enough of the deals in the annual shopping frenzy. Just about every store is offering some sort of sweet deal on its products from electronics to makeup to toys, but wouldn’t it be nice to get a deal on something to help you unwind?

Luckily for you, local breweries are offering up deals and specials for this year’s Black Friday. You can snag some discounted brews, or some vintage bottles, even some beer glasses and other swag from the breweries.

Center of the Universe will open at 12 pm Friday for the release of their annual Black Friday Beer, “Shut Up“. COTU’s “Black Friday” brew is an Imperial Stout that has been aged in both Bourbon and Merlot Barrels and then blended together to create an intensely complex and extraordinarily smooth flavor. The beer clocks in at 11.9% and contains a chewy mouthfeel to enhance the wide array of flavors from fig to dark chocolate. Tune out the in-laws, avoid the lines, and take down a big glass of Shut Up!
Castleburg Brewery will be opening at 1 pm on Black Friday for the release of their newest brew, DARK AGES. Dark Ages is their Silver Medal Winning Bishop’s Brown Ale, turned IMPERIAL. The Scott’s Addition added two gallons of Pure Vermont maple syrup and cinnamon sticks to give this version a woody, earthy flavor that is warming and sweet. Just like French Toast on a cold winter’s morning. They will also have Happy Hour specials from 3pm to 8pm.
Triple Crossing will be open from 12-10 and will be offering $2 off all crowler fills.
Strangeways Brewing will have their holiday market & Vintage Bottle sale Friday starting at 11 am going through the weekend. Shop the finest in glassware, bar accouterments, apparel, liquid gifts, onesies, dog collars, beer candles and soaps, things to keep you warm, things to keep you cool, and everything in between. Weekend shoppers will get a little extra something in their stocking from the brewery.

Legend Brewing Company will have a special on their Black Rye IPA, $3 pints all day also featuring Winter White and Choc Porter. They may have a food special tied in with the beer as well!
Garden Grove Brewing Company will have $3 brewer’s flight of 4 & all full draft pours on special from noon-6pm.
Hardywood will be open Friday from 4-10 pm with free live music by The Flavor Project. The brewery has been running seasonal discounts on select 750mL bottles in the taproom and will continue with those discounts while supplies last.
