Touring Grape And Cheese (via GayRVA)

by | Jan 13, 2010 | POLITICS

Grape and Cheese, at 153 West Main Street, is a few blocks from RVA’s office, and is nice enough to let us pretend to be wine snobs at their weekly tastings. From GayRVA’s blog:

Grape & Cheese is probably one of the most uniquely appointed wine shops I’ve ever seen. Bill decorated the place from thrift stores and estate sales. The toy plane, colorful fake parrot and antique photos create an inviting atmosphere that’s welcoming to the most seasoned wine aficionado and first time Merlot drinkers alike. Who ever said you can’t buy wine while you’re walking your dog? Customers can stop by with their dog, as long as they don’t interrupt the store cat, Ochee.
