Setting Fire To Our Insides For Fun Vol. 2: Valentine’s Day Weekend Playlist by Kanizzle

by | Feb 14, 2020 | MUSIC

Every Friday night, RVA Mag brings you a playlist curated by Virginia’s most influential artists, musicians, and institutions.

This week’s comes to us from Kanizzle, a veteran DJ best known as the project manager for Burning Man Information Radio (BMIR) in Black Rock City, Nevada, where he brings together over 70 other people to ensure that for around two weeks each year, Burning Man features its own full service FM radio station. Here in Richmond, though, you probably know him from his work with Richmond’s own Party Liberation Front, as well as his role as a co-founder of DC’s annual Burning Man holiday extravaganza, Naughty SnowBall.

His playlist this time around is focused on Valentine’s Day, the holiday we’re all in the midst of as you read this. He calls it “a lil something sexy for the lovers out there,” and it’s full of sweet jams and smooth funk to get down to… if you know what we mean.

Get sexy, Virginia.
