Keep Lifting Me Higher: Weekend Playlist by Unmaker’s Aaron Mitchell

by | Apr 3, 2020 | MUSIC

Every Friday night, RVA Mag brings you a playlist curated by Virginia’s most influential artists, musicians, and institutions.

This week, as we all attempt to survive yet another week of quarantine with no end in sight, we’ve got a playlist from Unmaker vocalist Aaron Mitchell to hopefully lift you out of the doldrums of boredom and/or the creeping anxiety of rent coming due while you’re unemployed and still waiting for that government check.

Mitchell’s playlist is full of fun tunes of all genres to get you dancing around your living room and thinking about something other than finding something around the house you can use as a mask next time you go to the grocery store. And I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that at this point, any distraction is welcome — especially one as uplifting as this.

Get out of bed and dance, Virginia.
