The official lineup has been released for Richmond Mural Project 2015 and Art Whino is bringing a diverse group to our city from July 13th-24th featuring internationally known artists from Berlin to Singapore.

The one name any street art enthusiast from RVA will recognize is Etam Cru, who return after a year’s absence to create a follow up to the world famous “Moonshine” mural on Grace Street.

In case you missed our coverage last time they were in town, you can check it out HERE.

Also, you can see more of their work HERE.

Also in the mix is local artist Nils Westergard, who spent the past year traveling through Europe and Australia creating murals along that the way. He’s gained a measure of international recognition within the scene, and now he’s featuring in our own local mural project.

Check out more of Westergard’s work HERE.

With his work spreading throughout Asia, the comic book artistry of ClogTwo from Singapore brings a jolt of fun to the crew coming to town.

You can see more of his work HERE.

Dulk is an award winning artist that we are happy to see coming to Richmond. An illustrator with a colorful, family-friendly style, Dulk83 hails from Spain and will be here to bless us with his “twisted imagination.”

You can check out more of his work HERE.

Along with Westergard, James Bullough will add a life-like element to the collection of artists coming into town this year.

Bullough’s recent collaborations with fellow artist Addison Karl and their art collective JBAK has brought them the attention of street art fans the world over.

See more of his work HERE.

Charlie Brown, Richie Rich, Bugs Bunny, Homer Simpson, and Cookie Monster have all gotten the all-fun Jerkface treatment over the years. Irreverent and prolific within the art world, Jerkface is popping up all over our feeds with gallery shows and murals consistently. His work can be found on his website HERE.

And last, but not least…

Self taught figurative painter Evoca 1 is Dominican born and working out of Miami. His work has a serious tone evoking the struggles of everyday people in a painterly way. The themes of his work are more than paintings; in 2010 Evoca 1 started Sketches For Mankind to raise awareness of local and world issues through art, while raising money for those in need in his community.

See more of his work HERE.

Get hyped, RVA – it’s sure to be a beautiful project when the painting starts mid-July, 2015.
