This wild variety show features plenty of high-energy shenanigans from burlesque babes, sideshow freaks, and other wild attractions, plus plenty of good old-fashioned rock n’ roll.

This Friday at Wonderland in Shockoe Bottom marks the arrival in Richmond, for one night only, of the third annual Coney Island Rock N’ Roll Roadshow tour! This wild variety show features plenty of high-energy shenanigans from burlesque babes, sideshow freaks, and other wild attractions, plus plenty of good old-fashioned rock n’ roll. This is more than just a series of individual performing acts–from beginning to end, this all-encompassing spectacle is a sensory overload that fills an entire night with thrilling action. The night will feature a musical performance from NYC psychobilly maniacs The Arkhams, who mix garage rock and surf punk into their Cramps/Rev. Horton Heat-style wild roots music. Also on the bill is Tigeriss, who were apparently formerly known as Tiger Piss, so you know where they’re coming from (shame they had to drop that name). This female-fronted punk n’ roll band is touring behind their recently released third LP, Everybody Wins, and you truly will be a winner if you come down to Wonderland and check them out this Friday. The Cutthroat Freakshow will also be in attendance, doing some sick, twisted stunts that will simultaneously horrify and delight you. Plus, the whole shebang is coordinated by MC E-Bomb, aka Daddy Stitches, and burlesque queen Scarlett Storm, who will be on hand to keep the show running smoothly and the guests entertained. And there’s even more in store than that! If you’re the type of nonstop party demon who is feeling kinda bummed out about all the Halloween parties coming to an end after Wednesday, Wonderland is the place for you to be this Friday!
